Ed Foundation Readathon a Smashing Success!

A huge thanks to the entire community for making the SMFC Ed Foundation 2021 Readathon such a wonderful experience.  SMFC students read 339,964 minutes and raised $105,000, $5,543 from our school, which will benefit students throughout our district.  Congratulations to Parkside Montessori’s top reader(s), and fundraiser(s), as well as the classrooms that reached fundraising goals:

Silver: Mrs. Moreno

Gold: Miss Simpson, Mr. Breon, Ms. Niemann

Platinum: Miss Castiglia

Un gran agradecimiento a toda la comunidad por hacer de la SMFC Ed Foundation 2021 Readathon una experiencia tan maravillosa. Los estudiantes de SMFC leyeron 339,964 minutos y recaudaron $105,000, $5,543 de nuestra escuela, que beneficiarán a los estudiantes de todo nuestro distrito.  Felicitaciones al mejor lector de Parkside Montessori's, y al mejor recaudador de fondos, así como a las aulas que alcanzaron las metas de recaudación de fondos.

Readathon Goals: 

As a school district, each student raises $25 per child or $75,000.
bridge the digital divide for our students during distance learning, to continue K-5 Music for Minors, and to enhance science offerings and ELA/ELD curriculum
