Parkside LEGO Lab
This is a no-cost, drop-in activity with no enrollment process, facilitated by Julie Park and parent volunteers.
What is LEGO Lab?
It's a fun, education space for students to design, build, and tinker with LEGOs. Parkside has the following LEGO education kits: Story Tales (Duplo), BricQ Motion Essential, SPIKE Essential, SPIKE Prime, over 12,000 LEGO bricks, and a LEGO wall! More info on https://parksidelego.org.

Pre-K to 8th grader students + responsible adults

Most Mondays 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 1/13, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2 & 6/9
What time is it?
2:40 PM to 4:00 PM
Where is it?
LGI. After school dismissal, students re-enter Parkside at the LGI gate.
Requirements

A signed PTA Waiver

Pre-K to 3rd graders must be accompanied by a designated adult.

4th - 8th graders, who leaves campus on their own and attend LEGO Lab independently, must complete the After School Release Plan in advance.

Students, who attend an afterschool program such as Annex, must be accompanied by an adult.

For advanced LEGO kits, students will need their Chromebooks to access building instructions and to program using Scratch or Python.
