Alumni Spotlight, April 2025
In honor of the launch of the alumni association, we spotlight some of our alumni through parent submissions of accomplishments big or small that they wanted to share back with the community… Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!
Cali is an all A-student for Freshman year! In extra-curriculars she was a JV Cheerleader in the Fall, a JV Co-Captain for Cheer in the Winter, and she got to choreograph her first cheer routine and performed it at two of the games! She is also currently continuing her Track and Field Career (that started at Parkside- thank you, Coach Morrison!) She also joined the Hip Hop Club!
Gianna has not only excelled in math this year, but it is her favorite class in High School. She will take accelerated math next year and has also chosen to take a few AP classes for her Sophomore year.
Eve is in a band with a Parkside alum and two new friends!
Lena is on the swim team and has won first place in some events!
Nina earned “Best Jumps” recognition in Fall JV Cheer and earned a placement on the Winter Varsity Cheer team!
Parker has done great at Hillsdale and is loving his Freshman year! He has been incredibly motivated and independent in managing his academics, which is reflected in his grades and his teachers’ feedback. He also made the freshman basketball team- we are very proud of him!
Roshan is a high jumper, long jumper, and triple jumper for the track and field team and is excelling in all of his classes!
Mateo participated in a Socratic session in English class after reading The Hate U Give. He felt really great about it, how it reflected how well his group works together, and how they each put in the effort. This was reinforced when their teacher said it reminded her of college Socratic seminars, and it was he only time she’s ever given top scores to each person in the group. The big thing about this parent humble brag is that my kid came home so jazzed about this - like brimming with accomplishment :)
