Primary Playdate

What is a cohort playdate?

This 2025-26 school year, the Parkside PTA has allocated $1,200 for each cohort to use for a playdate. It can be any event that invites camaraderie within the entire cohort and meets the PTA's insurance policy. A parent volunteer must plan and organize the playdate and secure approvals for the date, expenses, and logistics from the PTA Board. 

Who is our cohort lead?

Primary cohort playdate leads are Sara Weiner and Anushay Ishtiaq.

Who's invited?

All Primary students (TK and K) and their families. An adult must be present with each student. These are NOT drop-off events! 

Is there a cost?

These are free events provided by the PTA.

EVENT #1: COOKIES AND CRAFTS

Date: Sunday, February 8, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Parkside Primary Playground. Weekend entrance is between 1664 and 1668 Borden Street.

Note: Buildings will not be open, so no bathrooms will be available for use

EVENT #2: FUR, SCALES, AND TALES ANIMAL SHOW

Date: Sunday, April 19, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
