What is this playdate?
This 2025-26 school year, the Parkside PTA has allocated $1,200 for each cohort to use for a playdate. It can be any event that invites camaraderie within the entire cohort and meets the PTA's insurance policy. A parent volunteer must plan and organize the playdate and secure approvals for the date, expenses, and logistics from the PTA Board.
Who is our cohort lead?
Adolescent cohort playdate leads are Annie Tsai, Eric Park, and Lisa Denney.
EVENT #1: ADOLESCENTS' NIGHT OUT
Date: Friday, February 6, 2026
Time: 5:00-9:00 PM
Location: Ninja Republic, 1701 Leslie Street, Suite 100, San Mateo - Please use entrance on 17th St.

EVENT INFO
Who: All Parkside Adolescents (7th and 8th graders only)
When: Friday, February 6, 2026, 5-9 PM
Where: Ninja Republic, 1701 Leslie Street, Suite 100, San Mateo. Please use the entrance on 17th Street.
Drop-off: An adult must come into Ninja Republic to sign a waiver for each student at drop-off.
Pick-up: Students must be picked up by an adult by 9 PM.
NINJA REPUBLIC INFO
The following will be provided:
- Ninja obstacle open gym time
- Movement games: Capture the Flag, Gauntlet, Among Us, Dodgeball, etc
- Obstacle relay race
- Pizza dinner break
- Time to hang out with friends
Attire: Clothes that you can run and jump in and athletic shoes.
Gadgets: We kindly ask that students refrain or minimize use of their devices during this event.
Cost: $0. This is a free event for adolescents, paid for by the PTA.
