What is the direct donation campaign?
The direct donation campaign is the PTA’s largest source of fundraising. This is a year-long effort that is not attached to any particular event. This year we will have a donation drive during the period between the return from fall break to winter break - however donations are welcome anytime throughout the year.
What does my donation support?
The Parkside PTA funds critical programs that enrich our students’ and teachers’ experience at Parkside Montessori. Here are some of the ways the PTA plans to use your donations this year:

Parkside Walk-A-Jog shirts for all students & staff (PK-8th grade)

Classroom materials, library books, and field trips

What is a Corporate donation match?
Double your money! Find out if your company matches donations (many use a portal such as benevity.org). Your HR department may be able to help you make your donation and request a company match simultaneously. Very important: Make sure you request the match for “Parkside Montessori PTA” EIN/Tax ID 94-6184899, 501(c)(3) charity (your company may need to add Parkside Elementary PTA). For questions about corporate matching, contact your company’s HR department and/or email the Direct Donation coordinator (matching@parksidepta.com).
What about the SMFC Ed Foundation?
The SMFC Ed Foundation is a separate non-profit organization that accepts donations from families, businesses and the community which are used to support all schools in the SMFC School District (link). The Ed Foundation has their own direct donation campaign, as well as a Gala & Auction and hosts a Read-a-Thon at each school in the winter/early spring.
