WHAT IS A COUNT-ME-IN EVENT?

Count-Me-In (CMI) events are exclusive gatherings for Parkside families that bring us all together in unique, creative ways. Each event is hosted by YOU—whether it’s in your home, at a local spot, or somewhere unexpected! Hosts choose the theme and set the scene for a fun and unforgettable experience and Parkside families purchase tickets to attend with 100% of the ticket price going to the Parkside Montessori PTA.

WHY HOST A CMI EVENT?

     •  Connect: Meet other Parkside families and build friendships while doing something memorable.

     •  Give Back: Every event supports our students directly, helping fund important programs and resources.

     •  Have Fun: From cozy gatherings to lively group activities, these events are all about fun and community!

CMI EVENT IDEAS

     •  Craft Party: Host a DIY night for seasonal crafts or personalized décor.

     •  Baking Party: Have fun with cookie, cupcake, or cake decorating.

     •  Pizza & Movie Night: Set up a backyard or cozy indoor movie night with pizza.

     •  Workout Session: Lead a family-friendly fitness class, yoga, or dance party.

     •  Parents’ Game Night: Organize trivia, charades, or card games just for adults.

     •  Wine Tasting: Invite adults for a night of local wines paired with cheese.

...or anything that brings our community together, sparks joy, and raises funds for Parkside! Share your unique skills or hobbies!

WHAT IS A WINE PULL?

The wine pull is a fundraising activity where participants pay a set amount for the chance to draw a bottle of wine valued at $25-$150+. The wines are donated, and the bottles are randomized so that the participants don’t know what they’re getting. It is a fun and exciting way to raise money and try new wines!

HOW IT WORKS

     1. Donate your wine valued at $25 or more between now and February 15, 2025.

     2. The wine pull will take place at the Parkside Derby on March 15, 2025.

     3. Buy a cork for $25 and take home a bottle of wine! The corks are numbered and correspond to bottles.

LIVE AUCTION

Get ready for an unforgettable night at our live auction, Saturday, March 15th! Last year’s offerings included weekend getaways, a Golden State Warriors championship autographed basketball, a lunch and D.C. tour with a local congressman, and an estate planning package. This year we’re working on even more amazing items that you won’t want to miss! We can't wait to welcome back our talented auctioneer, Monica Kibbe—an actress, educator, and fundraising powerhouse. Get ready to open your wallets and raise those paddles high to set a new fundraising record together!

SILENT AUCTION

Our silent auction is back online and open to everyone! This year, bidding kicks off on Wednesday, March 12th, and, instead of closing the night of the live event, it will stay open for an entire week. Bid from your phone or computer on incredible items like dinner on the town, summer camp experiences, family photo sessions, sports memorabilia and game tickets, concert passes, weekend getaways, wine and beer tastings, and much more. Bidding is easy—just set minimum and maximum bids, get alerts if you’re outbid, and share the auction with friends, family, and neighbors. The auction wraps up on Wednesday, March 19th, so mark your calendar and get ready to bid!
