Parkside Facilities Master Plan Meeting

The SMFCSD Board of Trustees is considering placing a bond measure on the 2026 ballot to repair and upgrade local schools. To help guide this process, the District is completing its Facilities Master Plan, which identifies needed safety repairs and classroom improvements that a bond could support.

A bond measure would be funded through an annual property tax, levied at Proposition 39 tax rates, on taxable property within the District.

The District wants to hear from you. Please join Parkside's Facilities Master Plan meeting on September 18th.

The district is updating their 2020 Facilities Master Plan. They are meeting with communities to share about the process. The Facilites Master Plan drives all of the facility upgrade priorities for SMFCSD.

At this meeting, you will be presented with an overview of the projects completed in the last +/- 10 years and discuss what is still required. The smaller group committee will later help prioritize our wish list. The group should identify their top 5 project scopes

This meeting is open to all parents, and we are looking to assemble a smaller group steering committee after this meeting to provide feedback on the facilities needs of Parkside.
