Parent Square Invite by Alex Fisher

What’s the Spring Fling?

Spring Fling is our yearly adults-only bash where we come together to honor our fantastic community and enjoy a kid-free evening of fun! It's a chance to dine, dance, bid at auctions, try our luck at the wine pull, and much more. But beyond the festivities, it's a golden opportunity to deepen connections and make new friends without the kiddos in tow. Plus, every moment contributes to supporting our beloved Parkside.

When is Spring Fling this Year?

Spring Fling is on Saturday, March 9th. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the event concludes at 10:00 PM.

What does all the money raised at Spring Fling go towards?

All proceeds from the event are allocated directly to support the Parkside PTA. If you're curious about how Parkside PTA funds are utilized throughout the year, feel free to visit the following page to learn more.

What is Prom?

Read here to learn more about this American tradition...and the "promposal".

What should I wear?

This is an adult-only evening event. While dressing up is not required, this year's theme is Parkside Prom-Dancing Through the Decades and dressing up just makes the evening so much fun and picture worthy. Pick any decade you like (if you read the article, you'll see there's many to choose from).

WINE PULL, COUNT-ME-IN, AUCTIONS & MORE

Wine Pull (NEW THIS YEAR!!!)

It's a wine-lover's dream come true! Every donated bottle becomes part of our Wine Pull event at the Spring Fling, where every attendee gets to "pull" a mystery bottle of wine from our collection for every Wine Pull ticket they purchase. You might discover a hidden gem or the next addition to your list of favorites! It's an excellent way to share your love for wine while supporting the Parkside Montessori community. If you'd like to donate a bottle of wine or coordinate a party to collect wines, please complete the following form. If you have any questions, please contact Alex Fisher or Nicole Weigel.

What are Count-Me-Ins (CMIs)?

They're the coolest, hippest, most fun Parkside group events & experiences, including Ninja Republic for the kiddos, wine tastings at Total Wine & More (with extra discounts for your bar), and favorites including the Ladies Night Out Cocktail Party, Brown Bag Wine Tasting, Summer Swim Party and more!!

Host your own event anytime between March 10th, 2024, and March 1st, 2025! Classes, parties, sports, seminars, holiday festivities and more...limit by grade, by cohort, kids only, families only, moms, dads, pets, etc.... Here's how it works:

  1. Dream up your event.
  2. Fill out the CMI Form.
  3. Decide how many can join.
  4. Attendees secure their spot at Spring Fling – these sell out fast!
  5. Coordinate with your guests and host!

No bidding wars here, just fixed prices and limited spots. It's first-come, first-served. Hosts handle planning and costs, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Parkside students. Need inspiration? Our Count-Me-In chair has you covered! Reach out with ideas and inquiries.

Can you tell me what to expect for the silent auction portion of the evening?

During our silent auction, many fantastic items or experiences are displayed and guests are invited to walk around and view each item more closely, these items will also be available via the Paybee website for general public viewing and bidding. All bids can be placed via the Paybee website or by scanning the associated QR code at the event. The silent auction will close at 8:30PM.

Can you tell me what to expect for the live auction portion of the evening?

Prepare for an electrifying experience with our live auctionavailable to in-person guests only! A professional auctioneer will take the stage, presenting a collection of high-profile items and experiences up for bid. Simply raise your paddle to place a bid, our onsite spotters will recognize your bid and the item will go to the highest bidder.

Can you tell me what to expect for the Fund-A-Need portion of the evening?

Join us in making an immediate and tangible impact through our Fund-A-Need event. This year's Fund-A-Need will raise funds to support several initiatives at Parkside Montessori with a focus on campus beautification (with construction taken into consideration) and community building.
