Parkside Montessori Parent Teachers Association (PTA), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association, is made up of Parkside Montessori parent volunteers and staff who work together to provide programs, events and services designed to enhance your child’s learning environment and school experience.

PTA is the nation’s largest volunteer-led child-advocacy association working to help improve the education, health and well-being of all children and their families. In addition to advocacy, many PTAs fund academic enrichment programs, such as field trips or arts programs as well as events and activities that promote family engagement. In recent years, many PTAs are increasingly filling the school budget gaps and helping fund basics such as classroom supplies and staff roles.

We are part of the California and National PTAs, which are one of the world's largest child advocacy groups. Parkside Montessori PTA (formerly named Parkside Elementary PTA) has been supporting the school and community since 1954.
