DROP-IN: Parkside Montessori LEGO Lab PK-8)

Who: PK through 8th Grade Students + Responsible Adults; facilitated by Parkside parent Julie Park & sponsored by Parkside PTA

What: Parkside LEGO Lab

When: Mondays, 2:45 to 4:00pm 9/9, 9/16, 9/23 & 9/30

Where: LGI (re-enter Parkside at the LGI Gate after normal dismissal)

Why: Parkside has lots of LEGOs to design, build & tinker with in a fun, educational space. LEGO Education kits: Story Tales (Duplo), BricQ Motion Essential, SPIKE Essential, and SPIKE Prime + over 12,000 LEGO bricks & a LEGO wall!

Important Notes:

A designated adult must accompany each TK through 3rd grade student. If you permit your 4th through 8th grade student to leave campus on their own (and to attend LEGO Lab by themselves), you must have this form completed for dismissal purposes. If your child attends an afterschool program such as Annex, you need to be present for them to attend LEGO Lab.

For some projects, your student may need to use their Chromebook to look up building instructions and/or to program in Scratch.
