Show your children the power of community by volunteering! Your time creates a more enriching and supportive atmosphere for everyone.  

SCHOOL WIDE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS COMMITTEES

If you would like to sign-up for one of these positions please see the list below with open positions and email the chair person. 

• Room Reps: Represent your child's classroom and connect with other parents.
• Room Rep Coordinator: Facilitate communication between the Historian, PTA members, and Room Reps.
• Cohort Leads: Plan 2-3 engaging events per school year for a specific cohort (Primary, Lower Elementary, Primary Elementary, or Adolescents). Teams of 1-2 people are welcome.
• Yearbook Committee: Contribute to the creation of the yearbook by designing pages, gathering photos from major school events, and working with staff yearbook volunteers.
•  Audio/Visual/Tech Person: Shadow Eric Park to learn the ins and outs of running tech for school events.

If you would like to volunteer to help at any of these events or become a mentee, please contact the chairperson listed. If there is no chair listed for an event and you are able to step up, please contact the Historian, at historian@parksidepta.com, to chair this program.

We can answer any questions you have or put you in touch with current/former Committee Leads. 

Please note: We ask Committee leads to sign up for two years if possible to help with continuity and to help transitions for new leads. After two years, we open up recruitment to give everyone a chance to volunteer for different positions.
